Brief report of Peer Learning of Milan Myagdi at Pokhara
Date 2082/12/06-07 (20-21/02/2026) Frida and Saturday
Topics: Workshop on review of existing administrative and financial policy and preparation of new child rights and protection policy for Milan Myagdi.
General Objectives: At the end of phase first at Pokhara and phase second at Myagdi City, they will have a final reviewed administrative, financial and a new child rights and protection policy, amend it by general assembly and bring practiced it.
Specific Objective of this workshop: At the end of this phase second at Myagdi City, they will have a basic training/orientation on the policy and prepare a draft of an administrative, financial and child rights and protection policy, to amend it by general assembly and bring into the practiced.

Activities plan
Day one:
1 PM to 2 PM: Participants arrivals, lunch and program opening (Til Kumari Rana/ Bal Kumari Pun from Milan Myagdi)
2 PM to 3 PM: Welcome, introduction and highlights the objectives of the day (Ram/Krishna)
3 PM to 7:30 PM: Detail workshop/training on of administrative and financial policies preparing its pre-draft preparation (Krishna/Ram)
8 PM to 9 PM: Dinner
Day two:
7 AM – 8 AM: Break fast
8 AM to 9:30 AM: highlights of the first day and work plan of this day (Krishna/Ram)
9:30 AM to 3:30 PM: Detail workshop/training on child protection policy and making its pre-draft Preparation (Ram/Krishna)
3:30 PM: Program closing (Milan Myagdi)
Brief Report:
1. According to the above schedule on behalf of Milan Myagdi (Chairperson Mrs. Til Kumari Rana and secretary Mrs. Bal Kumari Pun from Milan Myagdi, jointly did the opening program and also briefly shared about the outcomes of already conducted one day’s workshop at Pokhara.
2. In day first, Mr. Krishna Lamichhane and Mr. Ramchandra Paudel jointly did the facilitation with a presentation of basic principles, group interaction, group discussion and group work on the existing administrative and financial policies of the Milan Myagdi. Finally, reached to prepare a pre final drafts of it. Its finalization and hand over to Milan Myagdi is to be done in a couple of weeks.
3. In day second, Mr. Ramchandra Paudel and Mr. Krishna Lamichhane jointly did the facilitation with a presentation of basic principles, group interaction, group discussion and group work on the new child rights and child protection policies for the Milan Myagdi. Finally, reached to prepare a pre final drafts of it. Its finalization and hand over to Milan Myagdi is to be done in a couple of weeks.
4. Finally, Mr. Ramchandra Paudel discussed about what next or plan of the third phase and agreed as follows
i) Next workshop will be minimum one day nonresidential; the date and venue are to be finalized.
ii) Number of participants will be maximum 5(only board members)
iii) The dates of second phase workshop are: 2082 Chitra 6 and 7 (20 and 21 March,20226)
iv) Final typing policies, printing, binding, handing over the documents and report writing will be done with in 15 days and handed over these three policies to the board members of Milan Myagdi.
v) The facilitator will be Mr. Ram Chandra Paudel and coordination management will be done by Krishna Lamichhane
