Fear of Food Crisis as Multiple Problems Hit Paddy Production

Seventeen people from fourteen organisations participated in the workshop held in Jhalko Restaurant in Pokhara. The core group members including Ram Chandra Poudel, Krishna Kumar Lamichhane, Gopal Lama and Yangchen Dolkar Gurung facilitated the workshop.The workshop started with a discussion about the activities done by The Everest Network since its initiation. The members discussed the strengths and the place for improvement for the programs such as the virtual seminars and newsletter. The representatives from six organizations shared their experiences of failure and success, what worked and what did not work for them. This workshop gave them an opportunity to strengthen their bond, learn more about each other and offer support to each other with their past work experiences. The network also shared financial report ensuring transparency for the members.
